This Privacy Policy details the types of personal data collected, stored, and processed by the **AKB School Mobile Application** (the "App") and the measures taken to safeguard it.

By downloading, installing, and logging into the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

To deliver our educational administration and payment facilities, the App gathers necessary details. Data falls into the following main categories:

Note on Permissions: The App asks for your permission to access the device's storage and camera to allow uploading and downloading assignments, documents, or photos. We only access these features with your explicit consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the gathered information specifically to fulfill educational and administrative services, including:

• Displaying student academic schedules, syllabus status, and timetables.
• Notifying users of attendance history and teacher reviews/comments.
• Handling and verifying secure school fee payments (using Razorpay).
• Processing submitted homework, assignments, and curriculum documents.
• Sending critical push alerts and circulars via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Configuring base connection parameters dynamically based on the student's authorized school server.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. However, to support standard app functionality, we securely link to the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services: Core systems integration on Android.
• Firebase Core & Cloud Messaging: Authenticates notifications and routes alerts directly to user devices.
• Razorpay: A certified, secure payment gateway processing online fee payments. The app opens webview sessions securely to verify transaction success.

All third-party SDK integrations are strictly managed to keep data transfers secure, encrypted, and isolated to transaction-handling actions.

5. Data Security

We apply robust administrative and technical protections to secure student data. Communication between the App and our backend servers uses secure, encrypted transport protocols (HTTPS/SSL). Session data (like access keys and profile previews) is stored locally on your device in secure storage (SharedPreferences) and is wiped upon logging out.

Although we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights & Data Control

Guardians have full rights to oversee the student data shown in the App. You can request to check, update, or delete your registered personal information through the school's central admin office or directly using the **Edit Profile** feature inside settings where permitted by administrative rules.

If you log out or delete the App, local caches are cleared, but academic histories and database payment records remain on secure school servers according to government record-keeping requirements.
